JSA Culture's back again, kicking off the semester with one of our biggest events of the year, OMATSURI! "Omatsuri" is the general term for "festival", where many food and activity booths line up alongside outdoor performances to heighten the spirit of the event. This time, we're bringing a variety of delicious Japanese foods (both catered AND homemade), fun games, and performances to the SSMU ballroom! All profits will be added to the donation that we are sending to the government of Kumamoto, for the earthquake relief. Get your tickets quick and we'll see you on January 21st from 18:00-21:00 for a great evening!
The Japanese Student Association of McGill is an official club sanctioned by the Students’ Society of McGill University (SSMU). Our club's mandate is to provide opportunities for Japanese and non-Japanese students to experience traditional and non-traditional Japanese culture. We place a strong emphasis on socializing and involvement through social events and volunteering opportunities, from which friendships and communities are built!
